Crystal Massier is a visual artist and arts education collaborator with the MacKenzie Art Gallery's School/Youth Programs, and Provincial Outreach/Creative Spaces Studio working in long-term care facilities. She received her BFA from the University of Regina, majoring in ceramics, and spent a year exploring hands-on technical elements at the Kootnay School of the Arts. She went on to explore art and community engagement through a summer artist-in-residence program at Melville Community Works Centre. Travelling to South Korea opened her eyes to art and community engagement in Asia.

Crystal sits on the Sâkêwêwak Artists' Collective Inc. board as Treasurer, and enjoys involvement with Regina's Fada Dance through dancing, lending a hand with costumes, and watching her own daughters be part of a creative community. Crystal also teaches sessionally at Globe Theatre School and believes strongly in giving everyone a presence through collaboration in community-minded art engagements.
